5 Abaya Style Ideas

Ok, so i would first like to apologise for my lack of blogging. I've been so busy with exams, travelling etc. But here is a quick blog - The 5 different abaya styles.

(Note: I have included makeup in some of the "ideas", but as we all know, we cant pray with some of them (i.e the nail varnish), so you know where i am going with this.... :) also, the belts are not really "modest" when worn over the abaya, so ignore them :) xx)

The Dinner reservation

 classy, covered and cute!

School

So easy to throw on, on a school morning. Go to lectures in style yo! the blazer is just an additional, so go without on a summers day!

A geek-shopper

Shopping? grabbing a bite with friends? running errands? go for it!

The sophisticated one

That blazer! but seriously, how amazing are those colours?

The last idea

Rose browns nudes... casual modesty.

Ok, so thats all folks. Once again, sorry for the lack of blogging. I will do an instagram special next.. so say tuned for that.

5 reasons to cover up

It is hard to summarize the reason why I personally choose and love to cover up in five bullet points, so this will be a challenge.  Here goes:

1)   The love of Allah
You might be thinking, “what does the love for Allah have to do with covering up?” Well, it is he who has commanded all us women to cover our bosoms and cover up. And so it is important to safeguard the initial origins and reasoning as to why we all cover up in hijab. Lets face it; if It wasn’t a command given by Allah we would not have been wearing it. So by having the intention of “I am doing this out of the love of Allah, and I am abiding his law” is essential.

2)   Modest in looks
YES! This is the core reasoning as to why we cover up in Islam. I would hate to even think about the possibility of me walking down my road wearing tight, immodest clothing. The looks form men/women, its just degrading.

3)   Modest in action
Believe it or not!  Covering up prevents you from doing many haram things, which would have been “cool” to do otherwise! And yes, we all have seen the random few who we see doing haram while in a full hijab. But lets face it, it all comes down to “ina man a'malu bin niyyah”. So, covering up for the right reasons, and knowing the responsibilities that come with it.

4)   Simplicity
One piece garment. Simple.

5)   Time
The time it takes to get dressed in the morning... bang bang done! Elhamdulilah
